My Battle

Mockument / Experimental Documentary

A historian's daily struggle with the critical edition of Mein Kampf turns into a claustrophobic nightmare when a mysterious intruder begins to claim his Warsaw apartment.

“I am bringing Hitler back to life to show that he is dead,” says Prof. Eugeniusz Król. For two years, the historian has been dissecting every page of the infamous manifesto, supported by his wife in their quiet Warsaw home.

The academic peace is shattered by an uninvited guest who behaves with terrifying authority, gradually seizing control over their domestic space. Seventy-five years after the Führer's death, an ordinary apartment becomes a battlefield between historical memory and a living threat. Are we absolutely sure that the ghost of the past has truly been laid to rest?
